Cambridge audio one - review in near future, anyone have any opinions on it?

Hello, I'm thinking of buying the new cambridge audio's One micro hifi. I've heard it in a shop and it sounds pretty good, but I didn't have enough time to properly examine the sound. Salesmen didn't leave me be! I would be grateful if Whathifi did a review soon. Has anybody else bought one, or listened more intently than I? I've read there are balance issues at low volumes on the other cambridge stuff. I also read that if something has a bass boost, it's a bad sign. I can't find any user or marks out of 10 type reviews on the net. It would be helpful if I could find out what real people (not a commission hungry salesman) think. Many thanks.

I, too, have been looking for reviews on this and the CA Sonata system and the only one that I have found available so far is one on CA's site from another magazine.

However, I would also appreciate if WHF did reviews for both of these systems.

I'm expecting a Cambridge Audio One today or tomorrow. All things being equal, it'll feature in the May issue.

Hello, I was able to compare the Cambridge audio one with the Arcam Solo mini in a listening room today, and although the cambridge was pleasant the Arcam was much clearer and detailed, which I suppose you'd expect for the extra money. The Cambridge audio sounded quite similar to me to the Denon DM37, although the mechanical noise from the fan and cd etc. was less audible. So I bought the Arcam Solo mini!
