Hey guys just joined and need some advise.

I'm about to buy a whole new set up but I need some advise on what speaker cables to get. My setup will consist of : Denon 2310, Monitor Audio R270hd(fronts), R225(centre) and R90hd(rear). Going to get a sub in a few months

For the front I was think about £5 a meter and for the rears about £1.5/£2 a meter. The rears will need to be about 10 meters each

Also I'm a bit confused with the versions of hdmi. Will i need to get a 1.3 Hdmi cable or can I use my existing hdmi cable(about 3 years old). I'll be using it with the ps3

thanks for your help

I've got the same speakers as yourself and use the following speaker cable.

Front & Centre ~ Chord Carnival Silverscreen

Rears ~ QED Silver Anniversary

Regarding your HDMI cable you wont need to change it if its working at present. The HDMI version number relates to the equipment not the cable. If you go to www.hdmi.org it will explain.

You could use the chord for the fronts, and one of the lesser chord ranges for the rears, or qed micro
