C315BEE Problem - advice needed

Just bought a shiny new NAD 315BEE and am pretty pleased with the sound.

One annoying problem - when I connect Ipod / N95 to the front MP socket via a 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead I'm only getting sound through one speaker.

Cable problem? Amp fault?

Could be either. Ensure socket is seated properly in the amp and source. If still a problem, borrow or buy a different lead. If still a problem, is likely to be the amp, which, if this is important to you, should be returned for a new one (or you can use 3.5mm-2 x Phono into an Aux input round the back)
