Buy a Philips 9000 series now or wait for 3D?

Be interesting to hear from anyone who has seen 3D TV in action.

While there's no doubt it is the next big thing, it seems to me it's still early days and therefore everything v expensive, just look at bluray, you can pick up a player now for 100 quid, go back 2 years and it was a different story. Then there's the issue of what you are buying the TV to watch, is sport really any better in 3D (I've not seen it) and if it's movies you are into, I'm guessing only new releases will be '3D', and there mght be quite a wait for older releases to be made 3D (if that's even possible.....), like the wait on some movies to become available in bluray....

Yep will do this weekend Gel! Problem is they make me spend money on lovely technology!!!
