From the London Metro free paper this morning: it's official - buying a flat telly and a home cinema system adds £10k to the value of your house. You now have complete justification for anythig you like.

Of course, back in Dundee it would double the value of my house, but hey........

An iMac is a good call too. You're not offering prospective purchasers a house, but a lifestyle. And if that lifestyle includes pretty and discreet technology (wireless network is in there too), people pay extra for it..........

Just make sure you keep an eye on the tv and your collection of discs as you show them round. Mate of mine had an estate agent show some couples round his place while he was elsewhere and came back to find some pilfering had taken place. The agent hadn't even realised.
