Budget Stylus/Cartridge Upgrade

Hi,

I've recently purchased a virtually un-used Pro-ject Debut 2 and its brilliant (for me as a first turnatble anyway).

It includes the OM5 but I would like to replace it.

But Im very unsure about what is the best budget replacement and most suitable for the Debut 2.

I have looked at the 2M Red and Blue, but is there much difference between them...sound quality wise?

Or would it be best to just replace the stylus with a OM20 or OM30?

I mostly listen to hard rock, metal music and 70s rock/pop (if that makes any difference)

Any suggestions to what is the best buy would be greatly appreciated because i'm stumped!

I think the 2M Red would be more than good enough for that turntable and the music you want to play. And given the small extra cost, I reckon this would be a better upgrade than changing to the Super OM20 stylus, good though that is too.

2M Red it is then, its a much nicer price than the 2M Blue and OM30 as well
