Ok, so the home cinema bug has bitten me hard again after a few years out! Keen to get a projector for £4-500 - does anybody have any reccommendations? Was thinking Optoma HD65 or 700x - does anybody have any opinions on these? I wouldn't have it mounted anywhere, just have it on the table top when needed - would i just get a long HDMI cable? Thanks in advance.

Any chance of a budget projector comparison review from WHF in the near future? I've been looking at a £4-500, 720p projector, and would be nice to see some opinions!!

The Infocus/Optoma PJ's are good for the cash but their placement options are very limiting and no good for me. Panasonic or Sanyo seem to be the best for that.

Had a chance too watch a few films now on my new optoma 700x and to say im impressed is an understatment! picture quality is great, The scaler leaves a little to be desired but not a problem if you have decent scaling elsewhere. The only down side is my 40" tv looks tiny
