Unfortunately, the effects of stands can vary pretty wildly - you can make or break a speaker's performance with the wrong stand.
The Stancettes were ridiculously good for the money they were.Oh, I don't doubt that a completely unsuitable stand might not work too well. I've been using Mission Stancette stands for some time now - no plans to change them - and they've been excellent. Yes, I could blow £500 or more, easily, but at the moment, they'll do fine. I'll let the tweakery take its course with/for others on this one. If I do pick up some new ones, they'll likely come from used models.

I preferred them to the more expensive Stance model.£60 - or so - back in 2011/12 or thereabouts. Yes, pretty damn good at that!
