Bluray Help

I've just purchesed a new 46W4000U Sony LCD tv and i'm wanting to get the most from it by buying a bluray player (probably the Sony BDP-S350)

My current surround set up is a Logitek Digitheatre DTS and can only decode the basic Dolby Digital and DTS formats found on most dvd's. Are these formats on Bluray too? or just the new enhanced versions. I don't want to be watching bluray with just the tv speakers and also don't want to be buying a new surround system either
