Bluetooth, noise cancelling, over the ear, light weight

Problem. Wife has her cinema room in back bedroom I have my listening room below. My speakers are near the wall that she sits next to; bass travels up which can disturb her tv listening.

Speakers and her sitting position are fixed. I do keep the sound levels down most of the time but when I want to hear well or play some bass heavy music the problem starts.

So headphones for her, when required; Bluetooth, active sound cancelling, over the ear, light weight.

My Sennheiser RS180 are too heavy and no noise cancelling.

Any ideas; what compromises may be involved?

Headphones for her only?

"Headphones for her only?"

I thought this implied that I only wanted her to have headphones; not me.

So my reply said I already had Sennheiser "RS 180" phones; used a lot e.g. most of today, so far. Very comfortable for me.

As far as weight is concerned she did try my RS 180 for a while but soon said too heavy; this may be a sticking point as she would like not much more weight than earbuds but over the ear.

Seems like you're the offender with those speakers. Maybe you should get some good headphones.

I'm sorry but I think I had now said twice that I have headphones; Sennheiser RS 180 and use them a lot.

Am I not getting that message across?

Private messaging is where you probably want to be. Unless you have a question for other users here. Maybe reword your original post and someone will reply.

Now no help required.

That's great to hear, and apologies for any confusion on my part. There were 7 ( sometimes eight) of us in a group here discussing your case, and what sort of resolution might be best for you and your partner. But as is often the case, we disagreed more than we agreed, and it just made the whole thing more confusing.
