Blue Belt . . .

Here is a little tweak that you might like to try for a few quid. I was reading a thread on 'Vinyl Engine' a few days ago, it was about the 'Rega White Belt' upgrade. A contributor suggested a better belt than the Rega white is Edwards Audio blue belt 'Little Belter'. He said it has a more sophisticated sound presentation . . . So I ordered one, it works, sophisticated? I would say laid back, slightly less muddled may be, we are not talking about night and day here but I do like this Edwards Audio Blue belt, coupled with my new mains conditioner, make a great pairing . . . IMHO

I put a white belt on my RP6 - I really could not tell the difference!

However I am open to the Tacima mains conditioner!

Be careful not to connect your amp to the Tacima..................

I had Deco Audio fit one of those to my Rega P3 when they were servicing it a few months back (10 years use had taken it's toll!)

Did I notice a difference? Probably not if I'm brutally honest, but it does match nicely with the new Elys2 cartridge that was fitted at the same time 🙂

As said, not night and day, but in 'my system', there is a smoothness to the voce that does not come over with the white belt. I think may be the work I have done on my TT extracting the last ounce of recoverd information over the past couple of years and the valve amps help a lot?

You can't measure something if you change a load of other stuff at once.
