CJSF, I wasn't putting down the belt, I was just asking the question.
I suppose I'm quite sceptical because I sometimes think that if these things made a difference, why would the manufacturer not bother?
Marketing, price points, profit . . . and where do they stop? Healthy sceptical with an equally open mind is fine in my book, however, scepticism without try something, especially if its cheap or simply an adjustment, dont go down well?
Some of the changes I get involved in are tiny, producing small subtle improvements or changes, possibly not audible in a poorly tuned system. The 'hit between the eyes' type changes are few and often expensive pro-rata.
I was not having a go at anybody, just making the point, 'try it' then its a personal decision, good, bad or no difference. I have had to revert back often, then go back a few changes down the line when the system is more delicately poised?
The other side of the coin, I enjoy tweaking that last drop of SQ, getting 110%, big satisfaction for me. Others cant be bothered, they just want plug and play?
