black lines on V+ HD.

hello i have recently moved into LCD and HD tv world.

i have a Samsung LCD and V+ connected with a HDMI cable.

i have noticed some black lines on people when watching HD.

its not all the time and does not appear to be related to motion.

only really noticed it on van helsing (4HD) desperate housewives (4HD) and a little on britains got talent.

so because i am new any ideas please?

my cable is decent.

i have called virgin. the bloke says my box has a weak signal.

got a man coming tomorrow to have a look.
