Beyerdynamic DT990, 32 ohm or 250 ohm?

Hello. Is there any quality loss between using the 32 ohm and the 250 ohm if you're using an amp or will it sound the same? I'd rather skip listening with these on my phone just for more quality infront of my computer.

And overall, do you guys think I'm going to be happy with this headphone? :)

The 32 Ohm will be far easier to drive, and is meant for portability. With a decent amp, I would say go for the 250 Ohm version. However, it might not realise as much volume if that is an issue.

With an amp, the higher impedance models will sound better (how much is subjective) than the lower ones. However, the lower impedance ones will go much louder with a portable player.

So if you want to use it on the go with your iphone, etc then go for the 32 ohm. If you want to use it occassionally on the go, but most of the time at home with an amo, then get the 250 ohm. If you only intend to use it with a good amp at home, then opt for the 600 ohm.
