These speakers are new tech; new physics.
Oooh new technology? That sounds interesting.
They look like regular passive two-way speakers to me. What's special about them?
Seems to be something called "acoustic induction" which is responsible for that awesome looking frequency response. If it does work as shown in the graphs, then I think Alacracity Audio really ought to consider licensing the technology to other manufacturers.
Would love to. Tried it before but no body believed me.
Would love to do it now; Ali bodies from casting manufacturers, stone-slab cabs, yacht birch ply, different build techniques from different furniture craftsmen, a Blitz on the hifi world, all the trades pulling together to get my tech out there in all their different styles. Mmm, with a world beating advantage? YES PLEASE!!!
Having a relatively flat frequency down to subsonic levels is impressive for the largest speakers, much less a small monitor.
I would love to hear a pair to determine if that impressive bass response is at the expense of anything else, or just a genuine technological advancement.
Again, where are you based? It would be my pleasure to arrange such a demonstration for you.
RE Bold point 1: I'm sure you can appreciate that persons will be highly skeptical when someone claims to have developed a real breakthrough in tech. Especially when it's from a small (relatively unknown) company. All you need is patience and to get out more and more review samples to customers, mags and dealers.
You have the attention of many in this thread, including David from FrankHarveyHiFi. Send him a demo pair (don't worry about whether someone at his store wasn't interested in the past or whatever, take advantage of the opportunity in front of you now). You can see how well AVI has done by capturing the attention of members of this forum, you can do the same (assuming your product works as claimed).
Re Bold point 2: It will probably be a while before I'd be able to demo a pair, as I'm currently living in Jamaica. When I move, hopefully there will be a dealer near by.
