Best settings for a PS3 BluRay performance

I've just splashed out on a Panasonic TX-P42G10 & Sony STR-DA2400ES. I have my PS3 connected to the amp via HDMi then to the telly. What are the best settings on teh PS3 to get the best out of picture and sound? For instance, I see that Linear PCM is coming up on my amp as the source signal, but how can i be sure that Dolby TrueHD is being sent and heard? What about the best video settings? Auto or set?

If you press 'Display' (IIRC, I now use a Harmony for my PS3) it should tell you what is audio track is being output.
