Best portable speakers

Hi all,

My wife runs a dance school out of a local community center. There is no sound system in the building so we have been looking for a decent portable system. She is currently using an Angry Birds speaker but it simply is not loud enough, last week we picked up a Bose SoundLink 3 but this appeared to only be even quieter and we have arranged to return this.

Does any body have any reconmendations for portable systems which has battery support? We are looking at around the £300 mark.

get something like an old Ghetto Boombox for under £100 (they come with mains leads aswell)

make sure you can connect your phone to the system. It should be loud enough ...
