When you are bi-amping do you use bi-wire or two lots of single wire?

The amp involved here is a Arcam A85/P85 combo and looking at the picture in the manual it looks as though I need to ditch the bi-wire and buy 4 x lengths of normal wire... unless I cut back the sheath of the bi-wire so that the wires reach the different units?

i use two runs of single wire, but as you mention, there's no reason you cant just cut the outer sheath back enough so the cable will reach between both amps and save yourself some cash!

when ever i have had cables made for biamping they have always left about a foot at the amp end and about 3 inchs at the speaker end - if you use a good company they should do it for you or just request it - my chord cables are the best i have ever had made
