Best Home Cinema option?

I currently have the following set-up:

Sony KDL40W2000 40" LCD TV

Sony RDR-HXD870 DVD Recorder (with 1080p upscale)

Sky HD

QED HDMI Cable

I am looking to buy a receiver and surround sound speakers.

I am leaning towards the Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver as I will be adding a blu-ray player in the future and would like to be able to decode HD audio

I am also ideally looking for wireless rear speakers but this is not essential. I would like tall thin speakers however.

Can anyone suggest a decent set of surround sound speakers would go with this set-up - ideally around the £300 - £400 mark?

May be worth waiting for the Onkyo 606 before you take the plunge on the 605. Should be out in the next couple of months at the same price point as the 605.

Are you looking at £300-£400 for both speakers and amplifier? In which case, both the 605 / 606 are way over your budget. For that price the Sony DAV-IS10 may be your best bet.
