Best app for video on iPad (DTS compatibility)

Hello everyone. Until recently I have been using the excellent app km player to watch all sorts of video files on my iPad Air 2, many of which include DTS audio. However since the most recent update to the app, whenever I play a file with DTS audio it says that the "audio codec is not supported".

Can anyone suggest a workaround, can email me an older version of the app, or maybe make a suggestion as to another a app with similar functionality.

Additional - I have neither the time nor the inclination to transcode all my video files into an apple- friendly codec - been there, done that. Pain in the arse! If an alternative app is available where I can sync files onto my iPad without prior transcoding I.e. As is, that's great! It's what I liked about kmplayer!
