Sorry guys but i'm new in hi-fi. I'm planning to buy yamaha amplifier + monitor audio rx1 speakers, just need to know what else is necessary to connect them together an play sound from my pc, and what the connection is look like. Many Thanks!

Firstly, what's your budget ? And how is your music stored on your PC (eg iTunes downloads; your own rips of CDs etc). Also, what outputs does your PC have?

My budget apart the amplifier and speakers it's about 300 pounds, most of my music is ripped (mp3 and flac), i've got the port on the back of my pc described "digital audio out" is it helping somehow?
