B&W CM1 question

If you like any bass, or real sense of scale, no IMO.

Also depends what you listen to & how u listen. If it's just bgm, then they would be okay, but so would most things.
 
theyre easily big enough and are a well balanced speaker but id pick the totem dreamcatcher over them if you can find somewhere to audition them or the eb1s if your willing to try their 30 day money back guarantee and the wait
 
I've got a pair of CM1s in a 3 x 4 m room. They're certainly big enough and have very prominent bass. I haven't had anything bigger in here so i don't know if i''m missing out on anything but they're sounding great to me at the moment.

I auditioned them with a pair of 685s which have larger driver units but couldn't notice any difference in their ability to fill the room but the CM1s were much clearer.
 
I use smaller speakers in a (slightly) larger room. In part it comes down to preference but I often see rooms with speakers that are just too big.
