How do I connect the equalizer to Onkyo TX-NR509 AV receiver? The EQ (Behringer FBQ3102) have XLR and TRS connections. I have PS3 connected to receiver with HDMI-cable, and the receiver have video out to TV with HDMI. Speakers are attached straight to the speaker terminals.

Where do I put the EQ?

Also, do I use Pure Audio mode when I use external EQ?

EDIT: I found out that you plug the EQ to vcr/dvr loop, but I still wonder what cables do I need... Do I plug it with the XLR-RCA cable or TRS-RCA cable or TS-RCA cable?

I'm not entirely sure what the point of having the EQ would be, the receiver will have EQ functionality built in, I can't even see what funtion the EQ is going to perform, it's not going to have any influence on your sound as it isn't in the loop unless all your sources are plugged into the EQ.

the built-in EQ is ****. It only let me adjust bass and treble. And doesn't the signal goes always through the VCR loop when it's plugged in before the speaker terminal outputs?
