Came across this on a FB Technics group, the person who bought it recommended it but I can't find any other reviews or comments online.

It sells for £39 in the UK, which is considerably cheaper than the Hummingguru - but sometimes cheap equals not very good...

Anyone tried it?

Looks like a generic chinese copy of the old Audio technica AT637 Ultrasonic Stylus Cleaner. & a fraction of the cost of others on the market most are 200quid ( £6.65 on alibaba & ideal to clean your £1,000 cartridge)
The only way to get a clean stylus is to remove the dirt at source with a RCM

Agreed. I do have one but fluff still seems to find its way to the stylus. Plus I don't always rinse the record after the wet vacuum and suspect the cleaning product might leave some gunk behind...

Cleaning records like the way your Gran washed the dishes
1 x wash with cleaning fluid & 1 x rinse in distilled water
Yeah fair point, I'm thinking of letting go of the ultrasonic and just keeping spray a bottle of distilled water to use on pro-ject still then hoover it all up. Having two separate tools is what is putting me off doing it.

Check your warranty on these types of products

Ortofon’s official Dry cleaning only is recommended.
Use the Ortofon stylus brush (or similar), brushing back to front only (same direction the record moves).
Avoid liquids Liquids (especially alcohol) can wick up the cantilever. This can weaken or dissolve the adhesive holding the diamond. Over time, it can shorten stylus life or cause failure.

Dynavector Dry cleaning only we do not recommend using commercial cleaning vibrators or electronic stylus cleaners

Grado’ Use a soft stylus brush and gently sweep from back to front only — the same direction the stylus travels in the groove. This removes dust and light debris without harming the cantilever or diamond.
Avoid liquid near the cantilever unless a very small amount of specialized fluid is needed — heavy wet cleaning isn’t recommended directly around the stylus/cantilever

Yes, I had one with my Rega but not bought another one since having the Technics. Must order. Very good (and safe).

Well. I read that Dynavector advises not to use any vibration type cleaner on the XX2 - which I have. And looking into it, true ultrasonic cleaners are also not really advisable. As the Dynavector XX2 rebuild costs £800 and Audio Technica doesn't do rebuilds for the AT33PTGII or AT33MONO, so it'll be almost the full price to replace, it's not a risk I am prepared to take. I'll stick to gel, soft brush and a dab of liquid if needs be.
