Question Atmos Upgrade - Opinions sought

So I currently have a question about upgrading my speakers, I’ve had them years and my Q Acoustics 1000si sub has just crapped out.

I have set of Q Acoustics in an Atmos setup as follows

1010i Centre
1050i Floorstander Fronts
1010i surround rear
1010i surround front high
Ceiling speakers rear high
1000si Sub - just died

Yamaha RX A2060 running it all.

My question is this, should I replace just the sub or are speakers improved so much I should replace the lot?

Speaker technology hasn't changed much over the years. Better to invest in a very good subwoofer. That will give you the most benefit. Look at SVS subs. SB 2000 Pro for example.

If you are happy with your current speakers, then just get a new sub.
BB has already mentioned one manufacturer that make very good subs.

I ended up getting an SVS and couldn't resist the centre upgrade whilst there as well, so much better!
