Atmos settings for Panasonic UB-900

Hi, please help.

i cannot get my Panasonic UB-900 blu ray player to output in Dolby atmos.....

does anybody know what settings need to be changed in the setup menu.

everthing is connected correctly & I'm using high speed hdmi cables

I called pana & they didn't know!!!??? They said they'd get back to me & in the mean time I got it working (dont know how I did it) then they emailed me with settings for atmos so I followed the instructions in case I had done something wrong & now I'm back to square one, it will not play atmos.

im quite sur they sent me settings for 7.1 reformatting..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Somewhere in the setup menus there's an option to have the BDP decode the audio or send it as UNdecoded pcm or bitstream or whatever to the receiver. Set that and you're done. The receiver will then decode the audio signal and you'll get Atmos.

As Benedict Arnold suggests. What's your setup like? Which AV receiver? What's your speaker configuration? What blu ray discs are you trying?
