Are Sky concerned about Free Sat?

How worried are Sky about Free Sat? Not very worried, would be most peoples response. After all, they control the rights to many things, particularly sport. However , if you put ‘free sat’ in Google, 2 of the top 3 results are "freesatfromsky."

Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that free sat still leads to Sky.

Dont forget "Freesat" was around for a lot longer than the currently known "Freesat".
Its also a viewing card that could be bought for viewing the free Sky channels from wherever you can get a signal.

I see no reason why they should any more than they would be bothered by Freeview, at least until HD content becomes more readily available on Freesat.

I've just heard on good authority from a sky stand in Bluewater that SKY will be lowering the HD subscriptions in time for Christmas. Can anyone confirm ofr deny ?

I dont think SKY are overly worried about FREESAT as most of SKY's paying punters are there for the SPORT and there is no sign of that going any where else any time soon.
