anyone own a Ruark Audio R4 MK3 Home Audio System???

But I did audition one and was surprised it lacked network/internet radio when the lower priced R2 does. We wanted it for an office so the all in one tidy nature was important so we bought the R2.

To be honest though, if I was buying it as a serious source of music and I had £650 to spend, I wouldn't buy either. Something like a Marantz MCR611 or Cambridge Audio Minx XI with a set of £300 speakers of your choosing would be better in my opinion.

I bought the R4 as the one box solution suited the room, didn't want cables and speakers . I think £650 is a bit steep but it gives a warm detailed mellow sound and with DAB radio, CD and Bluetooth does everything required. I could not find anything else that fitted the bill. You can certainly get more bang for your buck but it is very neat and capable.
