anyone got 2.8 update for the Tosh XE1?

Hi all, I need the update 2.8 for my Toshiba HD-XE1 but i dont have the cables and means to download it. Does anyone have the proper Toshiba cd update I can use? also, what exactly does the extra update offer over the 2.7 please? Much appreciated Paul

I got no cable mate. I wasent sure which cable to be honest and the menu for downloading on the tosh looks cryptic, thats why i was keen to get hold of the cd update.

You can download the update from Toshiba, burn it to CD and then install it on the player mate, that's what i've done with my Ep10 and both the 2.7 and 2.8 updates. I'm away this afternoon but if you have any problems e-mail me at Steven.austwick@btinternet.com and when i get back next week i'll gladly send you a copy if you don't manage it yourself.
