Anyone gonna buy new Metallica album?

I've only heard one song from the album, and that was ok, possibly a little better than the st.anger stuff, but still not ground breaking.

If I'm listening to Metallica these days.. it's usually S&M i'm playing(vinyl)love it.But I'll give the new one a listen on spotify and if i like it i'll buy it on vinyl.

Same as others really. Spotify first and if I like it I'll buy it. Though it is doubtful as I stopped listening Metallica after Reload was released. Only listen to older albums.

They peaked with Master Of Puppets. I like all of the first four albums. I tolerate the Black album being in my collection. The rest of it, I do not care for. Each to his own etc etc.

I may may dig out the Black album tonight and remind myself how much I cannot stand "Nothing Else Matters".... *dash1*

They peaked with Master Of Puppets. I like all of the first four albums. I tolerate the Black album being in my collection. The rest of it, I do not care for. Each to his own etc etc.

I liked the black album but my favorite is justice for all album .

but after they changed their image and cut there hair off they kind of went main stream with all the other albums they did after the black album and I was not keen on them so much anymore so kind of hoping that they have gone back to their roots and have an album that's good old fashion thrash metal .

....justice is my favourite Metallica album too. i can't listen to anything after that album. i have tried, but there is nothing of quality after Justice album.

black album just winds me up. load/reload are cowboy albums (country rock)

S&M is a great DVD, and used to watch it quite a bit.

the new songs i have heard are nothing special, unfortunately. they have an excellent bassist in the band, and you cant hear a string of his.!

ive Been listening to metal since the early '80's. And still listen to a lot of early albums from AC/DC to ZZ Top. (See what I did there)

some bands have continued to release quality albums and others have disappeared

Metallica have released some questionable albums that have not gone down well with some fans. Lulu and st. Anger especially.

It's all personal choice, but i won't be buying it. I've bought everything else and don't play any of it anymore.

I am not a big fan of modern music specially modern metal or rock it all sucks it must be me getting older I think . The only metal band I like that is fairly modern is a band called grand magus which they kind of an old school sound to their music .

but I am more into the Led Zeppelin , Black Sabbath , Pink Floyd , and a lot of blues rock classic rock era.

no I've not listened to Machine head yet I know they have been around for sometime .

the trouble is a lot of the bands that I like are at the end of their careers old fart rockers like Ozzy who I think now has hanged his hat up for good . I find it's getting harder now to find new bands that have a style that I am after a style that sounds old school but a singer with a powerful voice and a band that is good at playing their instruments . A lot of the groups I like have been a band for 40- 50 years .

you see you have guns & roses axle powerful voice & slash guitar work , Ozzy in his prime with randy roads guitar work , manawar lead singer as a powerful voice , Metallica the same great instrumental work in that band and a powerful singer , Black Sabbath Ozzy voice with great instrumental work . They do not make bands like that anymore

this is "the" metal album you must listen to if you like heavy music. it is a fantastic piece of work. this band should be way bigger than they are.

I do like a bit of machine head . I'm a fan of the blackening but I love through the ashes of empires,especially when driving.lol.
