Didn't see any news about them, the danes have made a new Dynaudio Emit gen 2

Emit 10 costs as much as the old 20 (or more) and the 20 gen 2 cost atleast 25% more than the old 20

No holes for the grill no visible screws, much cleaner looks and evoke tweeter

Another 5 star speakers from the danes ?

I like the neat look too. But how do you check the drivers for tightness after a a few months or years?
It looks sealed, apart from the port and terminal block.

I don't do that, theres also the same conundrum as a regular hifi lover how to do it on kef ls50 and many other speakers without leaving any marks

Did any notice any difference between the Dynaudio 2/6 & 2/7 and the Emit M10 & M20 (1 gen) ? (according to reviews not much)

Will there be any big difference between the first and second gen emit, besides the price where the new emit 20 cost between the first emit 20 and evoke 10, closing the price gab that use to be between the emit 20 1 gen and evoke 10 (almost 85% difference).

Yes, I can’t decide if it keeps things simple, or makes them unserviceable. Reminds me of certain mobile phones with replaceable batteries that are glued shut.
Kef did start using a through bolt that you tighten from the back some years ago don’t know if they still do that or not. Monitor audio did that as well

Adam T5V has more hiss, white noise than the Mackie MR524

You can't compare the T5V to the new Emit 10 since one pair costs the same as 1 emit 10 (not a pair) and are active speakers
I was talking about visuals. And in all honesty I don't really care for Adams.

But not sure why we can't compare speakers just because of something as arbitrary as price. If Adam decided to increase the price of T5V then will I be able to compare them? That's silly

Perhaps it's just me but I prefer the older looks. The 'cross hair' tweeter screws and 'plenty woofer bolts' inspire confidence and quality workmanship in a similar but not identical way to Harbeth.

As is it just looks like your average bookshelf (which it probably is).

No not five stars, which surprised me, since the dm 2/5 & 2/6 and emit m10 & m20 got 5 stars
I think other manufacturers have upped the anti in this price range which might alter the usual expected results. However, the lack of five stars cannot be taken as saying they aren't good speakers in the right set-up.
It must be noted that none of the other major publications seem to have had them in for review yet.

Well i have two great 2 channel audio systems in the house, my main system has Contour 20i speakers which i absolutely love, they are my end game speakers. The basement's were Special 40's, i replaced them with a set of better. capriccio continuo admonitor 311 speakers.

I took all the left over gear i had and made a 3rd system for the garage, i couldnt sell it, too many grinders want great gear for nothing. I ended up buying a set of Emit 20's new from my dealer and they are an amazing little speaker. I am running my Arcam A-49 amp, a Nad 545 CD player, a IFI NEO DAC with good cables and the Emit 20's great little combo.
