What did marantz do so the new PM/CD6006 was awarded as EUROPEAN STEREO SYSTEM 2016-2017 and not the PM/CD6005 last year?

I guess we will see a review in whathifi in the nearest future of the amp/cdplayer?

Funnily, neither is actually made in Europe AFAIK.

Andrew Everard has given them a very good review in Hi-Fi News & Record Review, and that's the UK magazine representative on the EISA panel.

I'd imagine they're solid performers but evolutionary rather than moving budget hi-fi on much further.

I'd normally disagree with you, but not this time..... it's a bit like five star reviews. ;-)

They seem to have a very limited set of manufacturers to choose from and obviously limited reviews.
