Amp for Speakers

I was reading in other posts where people were advising that the speakers and amp are mismatched. Either the Amp of speaker is too much for the other.

I am yet to purchase mine and was thinking of the Yamaha 863 with KEF 2005.

What should I be looking at to see if they are getting the most from each other.

There's no mismatch there. The 2005's work extremely well with an Onkyo 606, and the 863 is more comparable to something like a 706. All speaker like a bit more power or better quality amplification.
