Recently I upgrade my B&W DM 602 S2 speakers for some ELAC Debut 6.2 S2. My current amp is a Cambridge Audio Azure 340A SE.
Over time I have noticed that the bass that I am pretty sure was once there is no longer, only being half way satisfactory when I turn the bass up on the amp all the way.
Looking at the reviews of the ELACs, it seems that if I have a bit of a weedy amp (as my amp seems to be) then the ELACs will also be weedy. This might be wrong, so let me know if it is.
I know my amp is a bit of a budget one, and I'm also still not on a huge budget either. So do you guys have recommendations for better amps in the £200 - £300 price range? I am not adverse to waiting a bit to find a good deal 2nd hand.
