Hi there, I'm new here.
I have been using true hi-fi separates for many years. Dug out my Akai EA-G30 graphic equalizer to connect to the rest of my hi-fi. I would like to connect a tape deck, a CD player, and a DAB radio, and run them all through the equalizer. The problem being I have only got Line input, Line output, tape play, and tape record. So, not sure how to connect multiple sources to the equalizer.
Could I connect them all with a series of connecting cables?
Using 2 splitter units at the rear.
Using an AV selector box.
Any help would be great.

..It has a play in and a rec out at the tape.
Connect receiver tape out to equalizer line in.
Connect equalizer line out to receiver tape in.
Then connect your tape deck's in/outs to the equalizer's tape outs/ins.

As you know, you've got a labelled input for CD on the receiver - I would be connecting your DAB to the audio input labelled VCR 2 in.

From then on, any audio input selected on the receiver will be sent to the equalizer.
To listen to the output of the equalizer you must enable the tape monitor facility on the receiver (and that will also allow you to hear your tape deck - via its connection to the Akai).

To make things clearer, it would be a good idea to re-label front buttons and rear sockets on the receiver....VCR2 to become DAB. 'Tape monitor' button to be 'EQ Output'.

(No splitters or signal selector boxes required).
