Hi There

I am looking for some advise re a suitable sound system / standard speaker system for my Dads TV, Like me he has a Samsung 42 inc plasma and like most plasmas the inbuilt speakers are rubbish. I have a sony surround system which is fine but he is lacking in space and does not want wires all around the living room etc etc.

Any advice on a 2 speaker system with woofer etc would be great. I presume the woofer could site behing the main screen.

Check out the review for the Sony DAV-F200. It's a 2.1 HCIAB and has been favourably reviewed.

Thanks Chris, looks nice. I know I am prob flogging a dead horse here, he has a DVD player and the sony one you mention is over 20cm high, again I don't this will fit his current stand. If it were flat would be worth a punt

As he only wants a pair of speakers and doesn't require a DVD player, would not a regular mini-system, or stereo amp and speakers be just the thing?
