Question Advice on a networked amp with speaker A & B output.

I've just moved into a new house and have wired speaker terminals with QED silver anniversary cable. The speakers will be in the living room and dining room. I have looked at various options but only the Marantz PM6007 has positive reviews. My only concern is that it may not be powerful enough for the size of the rooms and the fact it does not have Bluetooth. Also, a built in DAB tuner would be desirable... Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Living room speakers are B&W 603 S3 & dining room are 602 S3.

I wouldn't want to be playing both those sets of speakers at the same time as they both can present difficult loads for the amplifier, certainly one for your budget.
Should be no issues playing one or the other though.

In this case I would buy two Sonos Amps or Bluesound PowerNodes. Than you have networking/streaming functionality, multiroom playing and enough power to fill these rooms. A bit more than 1k, but more versatile and you don't have the issues with 4 speakers to one amp at the same time. And less cables from one room to the other.

I like the idea of 1 stereo amp though. What about the Marantz 70s?

In this case I would buy two Sonos Amps or Bluesound PowerNodes. Than you have networking/streaming functionality, multiroom playing and enough power to fill these rooms. A bit more than 1k, but more versatile and you don't have the issues with 4 speakers to one amp at the same time. And less cables from one room to the other.

Cables are already run inside the walls with speaker terminals in place.

As a 2.2 channel receiver it should be able to drive both speaker pairs but you'll have to check the manual.

It's a big ask for a budget'ish amp to drive two pairs of speakers at the same time in my opinion....even if my current Electrocompaniet Eci 6mkii had two sets of binding posts and the option of A/B speaker outputs ..I still don't think I'd entertain that idea....and it's a powerful amplifier....it's probably the ultimate stress test of a amplifier's capabilities..but if it's your quest on a budget .....I think I would look at one of Arcams AVR receivers from times gone by..hugely powerful, separate speaker outputs and are very capable as a amplifier in thier own right.....but dropped as soon as the latest dolby digital atmos decoding ..etc etc wasn't on board....making these hugely capable amps obsolete for the obsessive home cinema users out there.....a absolute bargain for us hifi folks that just need two channels.....oh and I cannot stand qed silver anniversary speaker cables....lol.....stick to copper stuff...it's just better in every way.

Unfortunately he's looking for a networked amp with Bluetooth etc.
The 2.2 channel receiver he has suggested (Marantz 70) should be fine.
He should be able to get one for £649

I use micca cable and it's one of the best if not the best budget speaker cable
