I've just moved into a new house and have wired speaker terminals with QED silver anniversary cable. The speakers will be in the living room and dining room. I have looked at various options but only the Marantz PM6007 has positive reviews. My only concern is that it may not be powerful enough for the size of the rooms and the fact it does not have Bluetooth. Also, a built in DAB tuner would be desirable... Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

A few questions that will help give you the best answer:
  • How big are the rooms?
  • Do you intend to play both sets of speakers at the same time?
  • How much are you planning on spending?

QED silver anniversary to me sound bright

You have to tell us what speakers you have and also the size of the room

wiim streamer has it (bt and net radio)
The living room is 30m2 and dining room 15m2. Open archway in between, not quite open plan but not far off.
Living room speakers are B&W 603 S3 & dining room are 602 S3.

I do intend on playing both sets at the same time occasionally. Preferable under £1k.

In this case I would buy two Sonos Amps or Bluesound PowerNodes. Than you have networking/streaming functionality, multiroom playing and enough power to fill these rooms. A bit more than 1k, but more versatile and you don't have the issues with 4 speakers to one amp at the same time. And less cables from one room to the other.
