Hi all.
Let me share with you my enthusiasm for Advance Paris. I have been using the streamer-amplifier MyCast7 for two years now with an overdose of satisfaction and admiration.
I always said I would continue to use separate components, and especially my turntable as often as possible, because more than often I experience digital sound as sterile, unnatural and therefore unattractive. And streaming I thought was a death knell for natural sound reproduction altogether.
But introduction to Advance Paris changed everything completely unexpectedly. I am really taken by this brand's streamers.
I opted (partly for practical reasons) for the MyCast7. Of course, I could have chosen a much more specialised level, but I consciously imposed on myself to be satisfied with a certain limit.
I deliberately chose this streamer-amplifier instead of, say, the 2x as expensive NAD C700. The product namely solves a problem I've had for quite a few years. Advance Paris actually manages very cleverly to reproduce any digital signal over-all like the specific analogue sound of a record player: a lot warmer. Moreover, the amplifier does not suffer from the metallic edge that so often threatens to make digital playback unnatural (sharp). At least, this is my experience - perhaps someone else may not perceive it.
So this device could be a good solution for anyone who has (had) some dissatisfaction with certain aspects of digital sound.
Otherwise, its reproduction is very detailed and sufficiently spacious. Damping factor fine, therefore convincing bass reproduction. Really wonderful. Compliments!
