Add a Dragonfly?

I recently bought a pair of Bose Companion 2 speakers for my ASUS K55V laptop and I'm disappointed with the sound, no matter how much I tinker with the equalizer on the computer. Would a dragonfly DAC make a difference. I'm stuck with the speakers for the time being.

I was in this exact position. I bought these speakers and wasn't impressed with the sound at all. I sold them and bought some Audioengine A5+ desktop speakers and their D1 DAC it it was all in an entirely different league. The long and short of it is the speakers you have bought are not very good. I would move them on and look at the Audioengine range for desktop audio.
