So MR Record Spot is a future purchase likely or are you holding off for a while......................glad you liked the KRK's
incidently the best speakers I think I've ever heard are these Genelecs

mind you I think they are £20000 each......
I'll be holding off for a while I think Dave; cost for a start, plus my existing set-up isn't too shabby. The Sansui's build inside pretty good, handmade throughout, dual mono design, a VERY conservative 85w, decent THD for the year (0.03% in 1977); picked up a copy of Elton's Here and There 2CD set and that is one brilliant remastering job I have to say; very nice recording and plays like a dream. Was sitting pretty much agog at how good the Sansui makes the 752s and the CDP work well together. Just worried that my little boy will do something, so the short term solution is to find a cabinet. Or a big cardboard box!
Loved what I heard today for the most part - the Dynaudios and Adams slightly less so (too flat for me, an obvious professional's box that's clearly pitched at the business end of production or mastering) but the KRKs and most of all the Genelecs were very good, both for different reasons - very different sounding speakers really, KRKs being a halfway house between the Adams and Dynaudios, the Gennies being, I suspect, the more home friendly sounding actives.
