Sometimes, when treble appears sweeter, but retains the detail, I suspect it's down to a further reduction of distortion.

If you combine that with a very robust power supply, you then get even greater control, scale and dynamics, with better transient response.

I have increasingly come to appreciate these attributes with the AMS 35i.
