A Couple of questions on my next purchases!

First of all Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I am about to upgrade my TV and Speaker System and have a couple of questions.

1, How much better is the Panny 42PZ80B than the 42PX80B?

2, How Much better is the Q-Acoustics 1010i 5.1 than the Q-Acoustics Q-AV? (I know different market but will it stand up to decent music and films)

3,SKY-SD would it be best to go component out into my AV reciever and then HDI upscaled to 1080i into the Panny?

About the tv question, the PZ80B is worth the extra money over the PX80B, but if your on a budget then the PX80B is a very good buy. Sorry, but that's all i can answer.

so, I think I will go for the 42PZ80B........

ÿAll I need now is the speakers to match! I currently have some Canton Speakers in a 5.1 set-up. were good in my 1 bed flat, but now I want something that is much better at handling music and films.

ÿProb being teh Misses still hates the look of speakers!ÿ- so the need o be small!

Hence the Q-AV speaker system! rears on teh floor, sub in the corner, and one bar under the TV! but really how good is it?ÿ

What about Mordaunt Short Alumni?

I think they have an integrated LCR unit to replace the 3 front speakers. I've seen their 5.1 system on sale for £440. Just put the words into pricerunner.

ÿThey might be worth a listen if it's looks and sound you are after. They are certainly on my list to listen to as soon as I have the cash!

yeah they look great, but what worries me is the "Harshness" in sound that is rported by the WHF Team
