Hi!I've just moved in a new apartment and the landlord has left me two huge BOSE speakers. However, there is no amplifier, I need to buy one. They are in a small room and I'd like to connect the amplifier to my laptop - either via cable or bluetooth. I know that the sound quality is not going to be really good, but I'm trying to cut my expenses. Can you help me finding the cheapest amplifier in the world? Ebay is your friend here. Look out for a Denon PMA250, Rotel RA920AX, Marantz PM4001 or similar, and you should get something decent for no more than around £50-£60.

If you want a new one, the Denon PMA-520ae is the cheapest decent option at around £139.

Thanks for the answer!

I've found a Denon for aroun 50 euros, so that's an option.

I've also found a ridiculous cheap new amplifier, the lp2020 or the smsl sa-s3. they're tiny, do you think they would be enought powerful for the speakers?

The thing s, a part the denon all the othe other amplifier are around 150 euros in my area. I was hoping to spend way less...

Look for a Sony TAFE370 (or 570) second hand. Remote control and a great amp.

NAD 3020, Pioneer A300 and Marantz PM44 are all decent sounding amps and come up on Ebay at under £100

And unfortunately most are well past their sell-by date

I have the Nad & the Piomeer & both sound far better than my son's 2 year old Marantz PM 5005
