7.1 Dolby Atmos (upgrade- Hopefully)

I have AV System with Sony Speakers 5'1 set up, cube speakers,

I also bought four floor speakers / center, and subwoofer(none of the floor speakers where marked ie front / surround) I have disconnected all the cube speakers, and connected my new floor speakers and also have a spare pair front right / left front speakers, 7 Speakers in total of which I was thinking or using for my updated system

Do I need to buy specialy designed Atmos speakers ....... or can i attach all these speakers

It depends on how you want Atmos to work. If you want to attach the speakers to the ceiling, then yes any speaker will work. If you want to use as upfiring speakers, check this:
