Im gona be buying the Epos M12i and M81 center to match my Monolith sub.

I thn need some very small wall mount but good quality lesf and roght surround speakers,

Question is, what?

Kef KHT,Radius 45HD? im stuck

I know but there 4 Ohms nom and my Pioneer is 6/8 and they are also quite big

The impedance won't be a problem, and 23cm/9in tall is hardly big. I'm just concerned that mixing and not quite matching will give a somewhat unbalanced, disjointed sound.

Nominal impedance is an imprecise figure: all speakers have impedance that varies with frequency, and a speaker quoted at 8ohms could drop to 2ohms at some frequencies.

The figures quoted on the amp are just the manufacturer playing things safe, against users connecting several speakers in parallel to a single input - for example using speaker AB switching - where impedance may cause problems.

But a properly designed amp or receiver with good power supplies shouldn't have any problem driving 4ohm speakers. If they did, Epos would have created speakers unusable with the vast majority of AV kit, which of course it hasn't.
