Hi,

Anybody know if there will be any 32 inch or smaller 3D sets released over the next few months?

Is it possible to use a PS3 with the 3D PC monitors you see advertised?

Not crazy about 3D movies but for gaming should be fantastic with my Dolby Dig. Headphones.

Thanks,

Hi I posted a simmilar question a while ago and the replys that i got was telling me that i should get a 40 inch model as that would be as small as 3d was going to get.I am also interested in 3D gaming.

Hi Chokobolt,

Did put a little review on here somewhere but you'll need to search for it.

Love my headphones, gaming doesn't seem right without them now. Paid £119 for the Sharkoon 5.1s and for the money they are fantastic. A little hard to start with and a bit fidly to get right. Changed the included optical lead to an Optichord that i already owned. Once run in they are fantstic, especially versus the price of a similar HCIB set up. Set PS3 to bitstream for the best result.

You can even add PC speakers to the mini DD decoder for 5.1 when you don't need to be quiet.

The headphones also come with a set of 3.5mm plug adapters that in theory could be used with a set of analogue outputs from a BD player that will decode HD audio ( headphones are amplified). Haven't tried that yet mind.

Just need that 3D TV now.

Hey mate are your headphones the sharkoon X-Tatic 5.1 revision 2?

How long is the cable (from the box i guess?) as i sit about 2.8 metres away from my tv!

seen them on amazon for 129 quid looks like a good deal. Not got cash for a proper surround sound set!!!

They have a mic on them what can you use that for?

Cheers.

Hi Snakey,

Yes think its 2, latest one anyway.

You have a power cable that splits to power the little digital decoder and the line to the headphones. An optical cable connects to your system and the digital decoder.

A cable with a 9pin connector attaches to the decoder and power leaving a single cable to connect and power the headphones. All other kit/ cabling can be placed out of site. Certain that cable is 3m long but worth checking website.

You could always use a longer slim optical cable under flooring and plug and place the decoder nearer if cable isn't long enough.

Mic is for in game chat on PC,PS3 or 360.

Hope that makes sense,

Kind Regards,
