Will the add-on 3D pack for the 2010 '8000' and '9000' philips tv's be compatable with the current 2009 '8000' and '9000' televisions?

Any plans to expand the services offered via NET TV for existing sets?

I hope it does not look like that where's the all piano black gone, more silver and whites coming out.

The info we have so far is that Philips has done deals with broadcasters in other European countries to expand the Net TV service, but not yet UK. Whether the expanded services will work on existing Net TVs we'll have to ascertain.

I will have my blu ray player, my sky hd box, and a wireless transmitter box all piled onto each other, no room for a 91.

That's really not a good idea if you want the best performance.

For those who missed it earlier in the day, our coverage of the Philips press launch continues into the evening, with Mr Editor Dawes reporting live from the TV workshop. Find out more about Philips's 2010 TV range, including 3D LED models.

What the 91? or them all piled onto of each other?

Thanks

Andrew Everard:The piling. You'll note I left the reference to 'the 91' out of my quote above.

Ah, thanks, what choice do you have know?

On thing I dont understant. If in youtube I can see some movies in 3d why cant they be sseen on a normal lcd screen?

Andrew Everard:NOTE FROM MODS - please don't post such enormous pictures; please resize to max 400 pixels wide before posting

This is not a questioning of the moderation but just a thought...isn't it more important that the source picture is less than 400px wide rather than the display size? Because if the pictures is say 10MP and being resized the 400px it is still downloading the full 10MP pixel and your browser is resizing it to 400px, which is essentially defeating the purpose of resizing it as the bandwidth is still being wasted (because, really it isn't a big deal if the picture is displayed bigger than 400px wide if bandwidth isn't an issue).
