Hi

I am stuck in deciding between full hd (sony 37w500 or Samsung B650) or hd ready (Panasonic 37x10)

I watch sd through virgin +, x box and dvd or blu ray in that order

If I go full hd will I notice with these inputs ie

does virgin hd signals go in at full hd or hd ready (& what about the future)

Do X 360 games utilise full hd

If I go for blu rays will I notice much difference

Thanks

Virgin HD will be broadcast mostly at 1080i, sometimes 720p and this is unlikely to change for quite some time due to the bandwidths required for Full 1080p.

Very few games for the Xbox are 1080p, most are 720p (or less) and upscaled as necessary.

Depends how far away you sit - I compared 720p with 1080p on two identical 32" sets from about 5 - 6 feet and the increase in detail was quite noticeable on the 1080p set.

Given your main requirements and the priority you listed them at though, I wouldn't worry too much about whether the TV is HD Ready or Full HD though - just go with the one with the best picture.
