Amplifier with HT/AV Bypass - Cyrus HD One or Other?

I'm looking for an Integrated Amp with HT/AV bypass for a room 15 feet x 26 feet to go with Monitor Audio Silver 300's.

I've seen the Cyrus One HD and One Cast, both of which have been reduced recently and I could afford to buy today. I'd possibly lean towards the HD as there are more analogue inputs and I'm not too concerned with the Cast's streaming capability.

If there was going to be a noticeable difference I'd save for a few months and have been looking at others such as the Roksan K3 or Music Fidelity M5si but probably only if I felt it was a big step up?

Comparing the Cyrus HD with say the Roksan, I wonder if the Cyrus may be the Swiss Army knife that's "OK" at doing everything ... Multiple form inputs, onboard DAC, Phono Stage and the Roksan more a specialist tool for the job.

I'm open to any other suggestions but would have to be convinced they were a considerable upgrade from the Roksan if it was to go above the £1300 level but would consider 2nd hand, ideally from a dealer though.

Any advice appreciated.

Ok Personally you need to take a step back and not rush. Buy right buy once.

I can’t give advice on any of those amps sound wise.
Looking at it from a functionality point of view if you’re not going to use the streaming side things with Cyrus then then it’s a waste of money especially when there are products out there that do the just add speaker’s and streaming thing much much better, Sonos amp and bluesound power node 2i.

MF and the roksan are from a very different school of thought and pretty much “dumb” amps. completely different products really. So what is it that your after?

You seem confused to me and overwhelmed you need to go to a dealer or buy from a place with a robust return policy so you can listen to these things.

All in one amp wise the following would be on my list
Bluesound power node 2i
Sonos amp
Nad (basically a blue sound Dirac live on board)
And if money if no object a naim uniti atom

standard amps
Audiolab
Rega
Musical fidelity
Hegal

I’d also look at the new active market as well just to see.

Again that would be my short list I haven’t heard any of these

I live in a different world of high efficiency speakers and low powered class A single ended amps.

That was largely due to the recent drop in price of the Cyrus One Cast and if they are good they would probably sell out fairly quickly. I don't need the streaming capabilities of it although it'd be a convenience it it was there. That aside have since discovered they don't have a remote and aren't compatible with Harmony Hubs so have decided against them.

It is just the core Amp I need, think I'll bide my time and wait until I can find a 2nd hand MF M5/6si

Thanks for those and yes I had found both of them, the M6si looks relatively expensive and I ideally don't want the silver, I'd book marked it to see what happened to the price.

I spoke with Fanthorps regarding theirs either yesterday morning or the day before and am very tempted. I also spoke with another dealer about the Cyrus's and without any prompting he said they'd had a set of MA Silvers as demo and paired them with just about every amp they had, apparently the combo with the Roksan K3 completely blew everything else (they didn't have the MF) out of the water ... he mentioned that MA bought them a while ago and probably the 2 were developed in conjunction.
Still very interested in the M5si but a brand new K3 isn't much more and 2nd hand ones are between £600 and £800 approx so awful tempted to go that route.

only the Cyrus One Cast has streaming, the One HD doesn't. And it's a very good sounding amplifier for the money, in my opinion.

as I said havnt heard them and didn’t give advice as such but I’ll stand buy what I said given the price there is better out that out there functionality wise for the money. But noted the Cyrus doesn’t have streaming functionality my mistake.

I see now how it can be interpreted like I'm advocating for the streaming one, but I'm pro the non -streaming One HD
